Lexis

A fun and good way to learn new lexis or practice is the Fridge Magnet Alphabet, you do not need a fridge or the magnets, in fact, you do not even need the letters, you can play it on line and create words while you learn those your classmates create before they use the letters you are using. You may relate these kind of letters to your childhood but do not get the impression that only kids can use them, you are welcome to do so, in the lowest part of the Blog there is a board so you can start playing with it! The idea can also be translated to an actual classroom by using colorful letters on a board, table, waterproof nylon or even the floor, depending on your students and/or your facilities.

The Board application is an available free version by www.flashcomguru.com/

  1. Hello!
I found this post really interesting, cause right now I'm working with kindergarten students. In fact, it's a regular method used in kindergarten, I've done this by the Montessori's Philosophy, and it's called Movil ABC'S. Any way, I think it could be usefull and fun to use with any kind of students.
    Excellent activity :D
