A portfolio is the representation of our work, what we add it will be seen not just by our education colleagues but for potential employers as well, and such is its importance. In these times of media revolution it is quite significant to adapt and adopt new technologies such as internet, a power and useful tool of self promotion, because right now the eyes of the world are fixed on the Wide World Web.
The importance of having a portfolio is no longer exclusive of architects, designers, models, photographers, etc; any profession needs a major way of projection and that is exactly how a Blog could work perfectly for such matter; by updating it while the course is taking place, it will be possible that by the end of it, we could have a considerable amount of writing material that will complement our resume or curriculum vitae in a very positive way.

ReplyDeleteAs you say an updated portfolio is very important not just for a teacher,also to other professionals, because one of the different functions that a portfolio has, is the one of be as a presentation of you and your portfolio refflects your knowledge and more.
